RTA Schedule 2.0
Despite having a good deal of work to send off to Unstoppable Rocket clients this week, I managed to get version 2.0 of my RTA Schedule web app online.
It may not look much different, but there are some big changes:
- Times are correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (I was lazy before and used a shortcut that lied under certain conditions just after midnight).
- Gracefully handles newly effective schedules.
- The unwieldy list of stops is now divided into groups. A few major roads have their own group, while stops at intersections with streets like “E 55” are in the “East” group, and so on. You can also hide the groups and filter the stop names just by typing a few letters.
- Your recently visited routes and stops are saved on the home page for your convenience.
- Popular routes and stops are more visible.
- Each page has a brief explanation.
I also added a donate button to the bottom of the page. I’ve been meaning to give people the option to support the development of my projects for a while, and this seemed like a good opportunity.
Next week I plan to test the new version on as many mobile browsers as I can. If you normally access the site on your mobile phone, I’d appreciate any tips on what works and what doesn’t.

Happy riding.
